Rod Bianco is proud to present My laundry bag by Rob Pruitt. The artwork is an edition that Rob Pruitt made for the exhibition I ♥ Père Lachaise Cemetery at the gallery. It is an edition of 20, that can be shown in three different ways since the Laundry bag is printed on both sides. One side depicting Rob Pruitts laundry and on the other side depicting Venus of the Rags. The work can also be shown as a sculpture.

Rob Pruitt is an American post-conceptual artist working primarily in painting, installation and sculpture. Known for his simple and direct language, Rob Pruitt re-interprets materials, objects, and everyday tools with a keen sense of humour and sardonic irony. His art is recognized for its ironic and eclectic twist with a critical statement. Recent solo exhibitions include Gavin Brown, The Obama Paintings (2016), Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (2015), the Brant Foundation Art Study Center (2015), Museum Dhondt Daenens (2014), the Aspen Art Museum (2013), the American Academy in Rome (2008) and the Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati (2001) and he debuted the “Rob Pruitt’s Art Awards,” at the Guggenheim Museum.
